Meet the doctor
He won't recommend anything he couldn't defend to a room of his peers.
Dr. Walker grew up in the Boise area. He earned a BS in Human Biology and Pre-Dental Studies from Boise State University, then went on to earn his DMD from the University of Louisville on a US Navy scholarship — a commitment that led him to serve his country.
After dental school, he completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Naval Dental Center at Camp Pendleton, followed by three years as a Naval staff dentist — with advanced training in Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, and Implant Dentistry. He opened Deluxe Dental in Kuna in 2017.
Dr. Walker came to dentistry through a love of working with his hands — woodworking, ceramics, the satisfaction of making something right. That same attention to detail carries into every veneer, every implant, every root canal — and everything else he does. At Deluxe Dental, technology is a tool that serves the craft, not the other way around.
Outside the practice, Dr. Walker enjoys four-wheeling, dirt biking, swimming, and the occasional round of golf — all alongside his wife Kimberly and their three children. He is also an avid baseball fan and die-hard Chicago Cubs supporter.

We diagnose what you actually need — nothing more, nothing less. The treatment plan is shaped by clinical reality, not insurance status, revenue targets, or a script. Dr. Walker is not a salesperson, and he won't make a clinical decision he couldn't defend to a room of his peers.

The practice is built for the patients other offices overlook — the avoidant, the anxious, the ones who haven't sat in a dental chair in years. We don't minimize that fear. We dismantle it with honest expectation-setting, careful injection technique, and same-day resolution.

Dentistry is skilled craft work — precise, intentional, rooted in handwork. We use a digital workflow (iTero, CBCT, digital X-rays, soft tissue laser) because it makes care more accurate and comfortable — not because it sounds impressive on a website.

When a patient is in pain or a problem can be resolved now, we resolve it now. Same-day extractions, root canals, urgent procedures. Digital paperwork before you arrive. Most patients are treated the same visit, not sent home with a prescription and a return date.
